Adjective (chiefly of a drug) affecting the mind.

We are constantly asked if our CBD products will, “get me high”. Unlike it’s better known counterpart THC, CBD will NOT get you high. The mind-altering effects of THC are also known as psychoactive effects. Psychoactive effects can manifest in; change of perception, mood, cognition or behavior. CBD alone does not cause any mind-altering effects and in fact, CBD can counter-act the effect of something psychoactive like THC.
